From my book 1891 "Biographical History of Pottawattamie Co, Iowa," there is a bio for WILLIAM SIEDENTOPF, b. Hanover Germany 1846, came direct to Council Bluffs, Iowa, in 1865. In 1870, the bio states, Mr. Siedentopf married MARY BURHOP, also of Council Bluffs, and they had three children, two survived: WILLIAM F. and ELLA. I'm assuming then that Mary Burhop's parents lived in Council Bluffs, too. You could contact the USGenWeb page for Pottawattamie Co, Iowa, to obtain more information from the Genealogy library there.
