Note:
I'm a pilot in the Royal Australian Air Force . I joined sometime in
1985 and have been
posted from one end of the country to the other and have seen most of
the world. During
my stint so far I have had many jobs and flown many aircraft
including the F-111 and
C130 Hercules. My current job involves sitting behind a desk (most
thrilling....NOT)
however I am soon to be posted back to a flying squadron (so they
tell me).

What interests me
Interests. Obviously flying is a big interest with me. I have been
flying since I was 16. In
my opinion flying is just about the best job you can have. Yes you
are stuck in this little
office but its one hell of a buzz and the view constantly changes,
especially at low levels.
I'm also doing a Bachelor of Information Technology at Charles Sturt
University. I am
doing the degree through distance education, which combined with a
full time job is a
major challenge. A few of us have organised a study group called the
BTPL (Brain Trust
Pty Ltd). Its a play on words really as the first thing we do at any
studdy session in skol a
Vodka or Tequila before actuall doing any work. This ensures the
brain isn't actually
function correctly, which seems to help.
Other interests include computer games, especially strategy type
games. I enjoy playing
against other people as the computer doesn't yell loud enough when
you kill it. Currently I
am playing PAX Imperia II , Battle Isle (an old favourite), Dark
Reign and The Red Alert
series. I also like to ride my motor bike a fair bit. I've have a
Kawasaki ZZR 1100 which
on many occasions has caused some concern with the local
constabulary.
